Behind Cavalli’s Keyhole

We love a sneak-peek at other people’s homes – especially when they’re homes of super-stylish, fashion dictators such as Roberto Cavalli. As we hoped, his new home is design heaven: we’re definitely a little bit in love with the building’s decorative cladding. The house, in Florence, created by architect Italo Rota, has a facade made from laser-cut sheet metal which has been treated with a frosted copper finish, which acts as a breathtaking light catcher. Produced by Marzorati Ronchetti, the metallic ‘lace’ changes the surface of the house as the light changes and casts shadows. We’d expect nothing less.
