Easy Rider // made.com

We love bikes. And while we may not clamber onto two wheels as often as we’d like to (admittedly, the Resource team are not hardcore, go-anywhere cyclists now that we’ve moved our HQ back to the mean streets of London), cycling aesthetics please us in many ways: from the, erm, alluring lycra outfits that enticed us to watch each and every stage of the Tour de France, to the mechanics and design of bikes. Whether it’s a super-cool fixed gear affair ridden by a Shoreditch hipster or a precision engineered racing machine, we love.
Made.com, the website currently responsible for us living beyond our means, has a shiny new old-school Hollander bike now on its beautiful books. Designed for comfort, it’s available in vintage pink, buttermilk cream and khaki green with leather-look handles for a smooth ride. Priced at £179 (compared to a high street price of £549), we’re thinking of trading in the Prius.
