Resource creates unique content for Alan Selby’s Facebook page and Twitter account on a weekly basis. From insider industry news to events information for the Canary Wharf area, our aim is to show Alan Selby’s expertise as well as their passion for The Docklands and the City of London. We also use Facebook as a tool to promote properties for sale and rent, as well as showcase new housing developments that the company is involved with.

TESTIMONIAL FROM SUSANNE MONROE, ALAN SELBY & PARTNERS: “As a well established estate agent, our expertise lies in property, rather than the finer details of social media. A website is no longer enough. We knew the importance of social media to our business in this tough market, but didn’t know where to start. Lisa set it up our Facebook and Twitter accounts on our behalf and now manages the accounts on a weekly basis. She also helps us with other aspects of marketing. We are very pleased with what she has achieved for us.”

2. MyHotels, London

As well as producing a quarterly newspaper for the hotel group, we are also working with them to create social media feeds for the publication that will link in with their current website, Twitter feeds and Facebook page.

TESTIMONIAL FROM IMRAN HUSSAIN, DIRECTOR OF MARKETING, MYHOTELS GROUP: “Resource takes the time to understand your brand and benefit from a profound grasp of both people and brands, as well as consumer-facing technology. Armed with the knowledge of how to leverage these attributes with technology and written content within the marketing arena makes working in partnership with Resource akin to a dream.
We have thus far produced two editions of the in-house myhotels group-branded newspaper mine.
Embedded within each edition of the newspaper is consumer-facing technology such as QR Codes, as well as Facebook, YouTube and Twitter calls-to-action.
Digitally the publication has been viewed by well over 1,000 people and the in-print version finds its home within guestrooms and the lobbys of each hotel. Having become an institution not dissimilar to absent hotel toiletries, the newspaper has proven popular with both overnight guests and visitors of the bars and restaurants.”

3. Charlotte Harris Garden & Landscape Design

Charlotte Harris is an up-and-coming garden designer based in London. Charlotte asked us to create a blog that linked seamlessly from her .com domain that would launch in time for the airing of one of her gardens being shown on Channel 4’s Restoration Man. As well as creating a blog that is clean and contemporary, Charlotte also asked us to tie in her Twitter account, help her create a business page on Facebook, tie in her LinkedIn account and update it, as well as work on a Google Adwords campaign.

TESTIMONIAL FROM CHARLOTTE: “500 hits on my new website on the day it launched. I’m delighted.”

4. Gill Murphy, Painter & Decorator

"social media for small business"

Gill’s new painting and decorating business has been so successful in its initial months that she had no time to think about a web presence. Something that happens a lot with small business owners. However, like many of our clients, she knows that getting herself and her talents online is a must. The brief was to produce a clean, very simple blog that she can add images to as her portfolio of work grows.

TESTIMONIAL FROM GILL: “Lisa and the Resource team have helped me get me and my business online, so that I can direct enquiries to my website, show prospective clients my professional credentials and showcase my past jobs, as well as testimonials from satisfied clients. She’s made the process simple, painless (I’m not great with technology!) and is always around to answer any questions or add extra news or images to my site.”

5. Lucia Golding, Designer

"Lucia Golding designer"

Already with a successful e-commerce page on Not On The High Street, Lucia wanted to be able to showcase new designs as and when she developed them, as well as create a voice for her work: showing people her influences, other designers whose work she likes and beautiful things that inspire.

TESTIMONIAL FROM LUCIA: “Lisa held my hand through the scary process of getting myself online and thanks to her invaluable support, advice and creativity, my designs are seen by a global audience. Within a matter of weeks I had an overseas order from a shop in Sydney and a handful of enquiries from editors from magazines.”

“Marketing is no longer about the stuff that you make, but about the stories you tell.” Seth Godin
